Yard waste can be disposed of using one of the following methods:
(1) Composting on your property;
(2) Placing yard and garden waste in bags or cans and placing at the curb for collection. Yard waste is collected on the same day as your regular garbage collection;
(3) Separate yard waste (grass, brush, limbs) from other garbage and trash and take it to one of the three free yard waste recycling drop-off locations for residents of Hamilton County. To dispose of tree leaves, the same procedure must be used as for the disposal of yard waste. Leaves must be bagged, canned, composted, or separated and taken to a drop-off location.
